Algunas consecuencias jurídicas de la inteligencia artificial considerada como persona
Resumen
En virtud del avance sustancial de los distintos sistemas de inteligencia artificial y el impacto de estos en la vida de las personas, se hace imperativo abordar las consecuencias jurídicas que estos avances pueden representar. Así, este trabajo analiza, entre otras cosas, si estos nuevos sistemas dotados de ca- pacidad para aprender o crear pueden ser considerados en la actualidad –o en el futuro– como personas en el sentido jurídico y, en cualquier caso, si los mismos podrían responder por los daños que estos ocasionen o si, por el contrario, dicha responsabilidad debe seguir recayendo sobre sus creadores.
Abstract
Given the significant advancement of various Artificial Intelligence Systems and their impact on people’s lives, it is imperative to evaluate the legal consequences that these advancements may entail. With that in mind, this paper aims to analyze, among other things, whether these new systems, endowed with the ability to learn and/or create, can currently or in the future be considered individuals in a legal sense. Additionally, it will explore whether these systems could be held liable for any damages they cause, or if the responsibility should continue to lie with their creators.
