Sentencia de la Corte Internacional de Justicia en el caso con Bolivia sobre supuesta obligación de negociar acceso al Océano Pacífico

En este texto se presenta la sentencia de la Corte Internacional
de Justicia en el caso entre Bolivia y Chile sobre la eventual obligación de negociar una salida soberana al mar para Bolivia. Se analizan las decisiones de la Corte respecto de los ocho argumentos de Bolivia, se hace un breve análisis de la declaración del presidente Yusuf y de las opiniones disidentes de los jueces, Robinson, Salam e Daudet. Finalmente, se hacen algunas reflexiones sobre derecho internacional general y la política exterior de Chile, apropósito de este caso.
Abstract
This text presents the judgment of the International Court of Justice in the case between Bolivia and Chile on the possible obligation to negotiate a sovereign outlet to the sea for Bolivia. The decisions of the Court regarding the eight arguments of Bolivia are analyzed. A brief analysis of the statement of President Yusuf and the dissenting opinions of Judges Robinson, Salam and Daudet is made. Finally, some reflections are made on general international law and the foreign policy of Chile, apropos of this case.
