Legal Tech: Una visión de cambio para el mercado legal
Resumen
En este trabajo entregaremos una mirada general acerca del Legal Tech y como el uso de la tecnología impacta en la forma en que los abogados deberán prestar sus servicios jurídicos. Se definirá el concepto Legal Tech, ubicándolo dentro de otras ramas de la innovación legal. Nos referiremos acerca de cuáles son las herramientas Legal Tech disponibles en los mercados internacionales, junto con explicar de manera breve algunas tecnologías disruptivas que provocarán cambios profundos en la industria legal y como el Legal Tech impacta en el mercado legal actual; finalmente, se entregará una visión general de los desafíos de los legisladores para regular estas materias.
Abstract
In this paper provides an overview of the Legal Tech concept and how the technology impacts the way attorneys must provide their legal services. Legal Tech will be defined, placing it within other branches of legal innovation. We will refer to which are the Legal Tech tools available in international markets, together with briefly explaining some disruptive technologies that will cause profound changes in the legal industry and how Legal Tech impacts the current legal market will be provided; finally, an overview of the challenges for legislators to regulate these matters.
