En este trabajo pretendo analizar los efectos laborales de la Ley n.o 21227, que faculta el acceso a prestaciones del seguro de desempleo de la Ley n.o 19728 en circunstancias excepcionales. No tuve a la vista la ley modificatoria de dicha norma, actualmente en trámite legislativo, como tampoco dictámenes interpretativos de la Dirección del Trabajo. Sin embargo, se procuró dar cuenta de las probables modificaciones a la ley comentada y se proponen interpretaciones y valoraciones para algunas disposiciones, resaltando la importancia y utilidad de este cuerpo normativo para morigerar los efectos laborales de la pandemia de Covid-19.

In this work I try to analyze the labor effects of the law No 21.227 that empowers the access to benefits of the unemployment insurance of the law No 19.728 in exceptional circumstances. The amending law, currently in the legislative process, was not in sight, nor were the interpretative opinions of the Dirección del Trabajo. However, an effort was made to account the probable modifications to the commented law, the interpretations and evaluations for some provisions that are proposed, highlighting the importance and usefulnes of this regulatory body to mitigate the labor effects of the Covid 19 pandemic.
